Shine on the Scalp After Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

Posted by J Allen on

When one shaves their head down all the way, the scalp has a tendency to shine more than most part of our body.  If you get scalp micropigmentation (SMP) done, the look of having a darker head on top combined with shine does not look right.  When you have REAL shaved down hair, the little hairs defuse the light and do not allow for glare.  DermiMatch developed Zero Shine to help stop this problem and also provide protection from the sun. Zero Shine applies to the scalp in a similar way that a deodorant would, except it never dries and does not stay wet/shiny.  Instead, it stays on the surface, creating a protective barrier while also defusing light.  It will not dry, crack, and fall off like other alkaline solutions to shine.
